How long does it take to set up?
Plug it in, point it at your trees, switch it on. 60 seconds. No app, no electrician, no permits - just a normal outdoor power point. Comes with a built-in IP65-rated waterproof housing so you can leave it set up permanently if you want.
How big an area does ONE projector cover?
One HighBright™ projector covers around 40 metres of garden - easily lighting up 4-6 mature trees, a back fence line, or one full backyard side. For a typical Aussie family home with both front and back gardens, most customers go with the 2-Pack. For acreage or hosting, the 3-Pack covers the whole property including side fences.
Is it actually waterproof?
Yes - rated IP65, which is the same rating used for outdoor security cameras and pool lights. It handles full QLD storms and coastal salt air. The remote is splash-resistant only, so keep it indoors. The projector itself stays outside year-round.
Do I need an electrician?
No. It plugs into any standard outdoor power point. There's a 5m weather-resistant cable from the projector. If you don't have an outdoor power point near where you want to use it, an extension cable (outdoor-rated) is fine. No electrical certification or installation required.
Will the dots show up on dark trees?
Yes - the blue and green dots are specifically designed to be sharp and bright against dark foliage at night. They look magical on gum trees, palms, hedges, jasmine, native shrubs, brick walls, and pergolas. They won't show up well on totally flat dark surfaces (like a black fence with no texture).
How long does it last?
The hardware is built for 5+ years of outdoor use. The laser diodes are rated for 50,000 hours - at 4 hours/night, that's over 30 years. Our 12-month full warranty covers any defects in the first year.
Can I leave it on all night?
Yes. It's safe for continuous operation, but most customers use it for evenings (4-6 hours). The built-in timer can auto-switch off after 2, 4, 6, or 8 hours. Some customers pair it with a photocell timer plug ($25 from Bunnings) so it only fires after sunset.
Is laser light safe for people, pets, neighbours?
The HighBright™ is a Class 1 / Class 3R rated laser, which is safe for skin and accidental viewing - same class as supermarket scanners. Don't aim it directly at human or animal eyes from close range (under 2m), and follow standard sense: don't point it at the sky (light aircraft) or into a neighbour's house.
What if I don't love it?
We've got a 12-month manufacturer warranty + 60-day satisfaction guarantee. If it doesn't deliver on what we've shown, send it back and we'll refund or replace. Email hello@thehomeandpartyshop.com with your order number and we'll sort it.

All orders ship from our QLD warehouse. Free shipping on orders over $150 Australia-wide. We aim to dispatch within 1-2 business days, but actual delivery time depends on your AusPost zone.
