Cherry-Chocolate Cheesecake

What you will need:

(For the crust)

Two cups of chocolate cookies

(crushed)

Three tbs of melted butter

(For the filling)

Four packs of cream cheese

Three eggs

3/4 th of a cup of sugar

Half a teaspoon of almond extract

Half a cup of whipped cream

A can of cherry pie filling

(For the glaze)

Half a cup of whipped cream

A cup of chocolate chips

How to make a cherry-chocolate cheesecake:

1.Start of by pre-heating your oven to 325°F.

2. Now take a bowl and mix together the crust ingredients and press the mixture together on the 10 inch pan.

3. In a large bow now mix the cream cheese using an electric blender on medium speed till the cheese is smooth. Then add in the eggs one egg at a time and then the sugar, almond extract and whipped cream. Make sure the mixture is well blended.

4. Now spoon in the cream cheese on to the chocolate crust and spoon it out evenly.

5. Now spread one cup of the pie filling on to the cream cheese layer and then top it off with the reimaging cream cheese mixture.

6. Bake for an hour and 15 minutes until the centre is set.

7. Cool on a rack.

8. Ina saucepan heat the whipped cream till it is about to boil over and remove from heat and stir in the chocolate chips till melted.

9. After taking out the cheesecake spread the glaze on it after which you should refrigerate over night.
