Worlds best Oreo cream filled cake

 

This cake has to be one of our favourite recipes. We recommend putting it on your " to do cooking list " 

 

What you will need

Cake:

290ml cups of hot coffee

230ml unsweetened dark cocoa powder
2.5 cups flour
one and a quarter tablespoon of salt
two 1/2 tsp baking soda
two cups sugar
three eggs
one cup buttermilk

one cup + 2 Tablespoons of vegetable oil

What you will need for the Filling:

One stick of room temperature unsalted butter
Two cups powdered sugar
A pinch of salt
Half tablespoon vanilla
2 Tablespoon heavy cream

seven crushed Oreo’s

What you will need for the Topping:

1/2 cup white chocolate chips
2 Tablespoons heavy cream

four crushed Oreo’s

Also needed:

10 inch bundt pan

 

How to make the Oreo cake : 

First of all Pre-heat an oven till the temperature reaches 175c degrees. Now take a bundt pan and grease its inner part, and then dust it with the help of cocoa powder. Set it aside.

Take a small bowl and pour in some hot coffee. Add cocoa powder into it and whisk them together until the mixture becomes smooth enough. Now take a medium sized bowl and add some flour, baking soda & salt, and mix them properly. In a stand mixer bowl, beat sugar & egg for couple of minutes till the mixture becomes thick & pale. Now add oil & buttermilk to it and mix them up properly. Take a mixer and add some flour into it. Mix it at lower speed for next 30 to 60 seconds till the batter becomes smooth enough. Add cocoa & coffee mixture to it and mix them at a low speed till the batter becomes brown in color. Put this batter over already prepared bundt pan, and for next 50 minutes bake it till the toothpick tester easily comes out.

Leave the cake in the pan for next half an hour to cool it down. Now take a knife and smoothly run it around the cake’s edges and place the pan upside down over wire rack. The cake will come out easily. Leave it there over the wire rack till it cools down completely. 
Since, the cake is cooling you can prepare the fillings now. Take a stand mixer bowl and beat some butter in it for 30 seconds. Now add some cream, powdered sugar, vanilla & salt into it. Mix them at a lower speed till the dry ingredients are mixed properly. Now increase the speed and again mix them up for next couple of minutes. You can now add some crushed oreo’s into it and mix at a lower speed till they get evenly distributed. 

For assembling the cake, make sure to use serrated & sharp knife and cut the cake into half in a horizontal manner. Now turn over the cake and with the help of a tablespoon, smoothly dig in a hole in each side of your cake. Stuff the oreo filling in the holes and spread them evenly with the help of a knife. Now smoothly turn over the cake and realign its edges.

For making its surface smoother, take half a cup of white chocolate & couple of tablespoons of cream and melt them together over a heated saucepan. Stir them continuously till the mixture becomes thin & smooth enough to pour. Now smoothly drizzle some chocolate on top of cake and cover it entirely with crushed oreo’s. Set it aside to cool down, till the chocolate becomes hard. Your cake is ready and you can serve it immediately. However, if you want to store it, then you can put it in a refrigerator for future use.
