How long does it take to set up the laser light?

About 60 seconds. Plug it into any standard outdoor power point, point it at your trees or fence, and switch it on. No app, no electrician, no permits — the built-in IP65 waterproof housing means you can leave it set up permanently.

How big an area does ONE projector cover?

One HighBright projector covers around 40 metres of garden — easily lighting up 4–6 mature trees, a back fence line, or one full backyard side. For a typical Aussie family home with both front and back gardens, most customers go with the 2-Pack. For acreage or hosting, the 3-Pack covers the whole property.

Is it actually waterproof?

Yes — rated IP65, the same rating used for outdoor security cameras and pool lights. It handles full QLD storms and coastal salt air. The remote is splash-resistant only, so keep it indoors. The projector itself stays outside year-round.

Do I need an electrician?

No. It plugs into any standard outdoor power point with the 5m weather-resistant cable. If you don't have an outdoor power point near where you want to use it, an outdoor-rated extension cable is fine. No electrical certification or installation required.

Will the dots show up on dark trees?

Yes — the blue and green dots are specifically designed to be sharp and bright against dark foliage at night. They look magical on gum trees, palms, hedges, jasmine, native shrubs, brick walls, and pergolas.

How long does the laser light last?

The hardware is built for 5+ years of outdoor use. The laser diodes are rated for 50,000 hours — at 4 hours per night, that's over 30 years. Our 12-month full warranty covers any defects in the first year.

Is laser light safe for people, pets, and neighbours?

The HighBright is built to IEC 60825 laser safety standards and is rated low-power for outdoor garden use. The standard sense rules apply with any light source: don't aim it directly into eyes from close range, don't point at aircraft or roads, and keep it angled at your trees and lawn the way you would any garden lighting. It's the same approach you'd take with a high-output torch or string-light projector.

How fast is shipping?

All orders ship same-business-day from our Queensland warehouse when placed before 2pm AEST. Free shipping on orders over $150 AUD; flat-rate calculated at checkout below that. Standard delivery is 2-5 business days for capital cities, 5-12 business days for regional and remote postcodes.

Can I leave it on all night?

Yes — it's safe for continuous operation. The built-in timer can auto-switch off after 2, 4, 6, or 8 hours. Some customers pair it with a $25 photocell timer plug from Bunnings so it only fires after sunset.

What if I don't love it?

We offer a 30-day return guarantee and a 12-month Australian warranty. If the projector isn't what you hoped, email info@thehomeandpartyshop.com inside 30 days with your order number for a full refund of the product price.
