Do I need any wiring or batteries?
Neither. Each bulb has its own small solar panel and a built-in rechargeable battery. Hang them in daylight and they look after themselves.
How long do they stay on at night?
Up to about 8 hours from a full day's charge. Longer, sunnier days give you more glow time; short winter days a little less.
Do they really turn on by themselves?
Yes. A light sensor switches them on as it gets dark and off again at dawn. There's also a manual on/off switch under the cap if you'd rather control it.
Are they warm white or colour?
They give that pretty mix — warm white drifting through soft colour (amber, green, blue, pink) inside the clear glass, which is what makes them feel magic rather than flat.
Can they stay outside in the rain?
